I spotted an unusual rock formation at Cala Pregonda,Menorca. From the angle and the light hitting it at the time, I thought it had bore a striking resemblance to an animal.
On a pebble beach near the Mola Fortress(Fortalesa de la Mola) in Menorca. I noticed this seastack having a silhouette almost matching the giantrock on the beach itself. I composed the shot so thatthe two edges almost line up, with a sliver of seavisible to separate the two halves. Meanwhile thesetting sun illuminates the cliff with a beautiful goldenlight.
The distinctive Ilhéu de Vila Franca do Campo, a small volcanic islet off the coast of São Miguel Island in the Azores, stands prominently in the Atlantic Ocean, in contrast to the vibrant green agricultural field.
The iconic Farol da Ferraria lighthouse, with its distinctive white structure and red lantern room, stands majestically on the rugged coastline of São Miguel Island in the Azores, Portugal. The deep blue Atlantic Ocean stretches to the horizon under a clear sky, with a seagull soaring overhead and a distant sailboat.
The dramatic dark volcanic rock formations meet the vibrant blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean at Ponta da Ferraris, on the western coat of São Miguel island. The yellow algae (or moss) creates a striking contrast against the jagged rocks.
